the kindle co. is a calgary based candle company founded in 2018 by a local mom (christina) who has reimagined clean burning candles for modern life.
the kindle co was created with clean burning in mind, as this was top priority for me. my vision became a reality for me when i was pregnant with my first baby, and like most, changed a lot of the ways i did things. this for me included the candles i was burning into my home. after hours of research, the trialing began. fast forward two years and here we are. burning candles in my home guilt free, and following a path that i never imagined to be possible.

our oils.
we carry two lines of candles, one scented with essential oils, and one scented with fragrance oils which are phthalate free. both oils are of premium grade, making them of higher quality then cosmetic grade oils. i take a lot of pride knowing that these oils are of such premium quality that even some of my most sensitive customers comment on how great they are.
our wax.
our wax is a 100% natural + renewable coconut soy wax blend. a coco soy blend is known for its incredible scent throw + low melting point. this in the long run means your candle will last longer then most. soy, unlike paraffin wax, does not release carcinogens into the air when melting. some other waxes are known to release up to 11 (yes, you heard me right) different chemicals into the air when burning.
our wicks.
our rope wicks are primed with high melt natural wax (compared to commonly used paraffin wax), and are designed to provide the benefits of self-trimming to ensure less soot omissions and easy candle maintenance. the wicks are constructed using high-performance fibers, and other natural materials which are completely lead free.
